Support for First-Generation Black Professionals Navigating Work, Wellness, and Ambition

Welcome

I built this community for first-generation Black college students, professionals, and anyone who is the first in their family trying to build something different.

First-generation life often means moving between worlds, without feeling fully understood in either.

Who This Is For:

This space is designed specifically for first-generation college graduates and professionals navigating workplaces not built with them in mind.

This is for you if:

  • You are the first in your family to enter professional or corporate spaces

  • You feel pressure to "get it right" because there is no safety net behind you

  • You carry unspoken expectations to represent, perform, or prove your worth

  • You experience chronic stress that feels bigger than your job description

  • You want practical guidance without being pathologized or politicized

This is not about fixing you; it is about helping you function, decide, and protect yourself within systems that were never designed to benefit you.

If you want to hear more about why this space exists and how this support is structured, you can watch the short video.

You belong here, exactly as you are!

I built this space from lived experience and over a decade of clinical and professional work supporting people navigating high-pressure systems.
